The Open Group U.S. Summit(Houston, Texas)
Stay Tuned

The Open Group Summit was held in Oslo, Norway, from April 27 to 30, 2026 (local time), bringing together more than 300 experts, leaders, and practitioners from around the world. This yearʼs Summit was a particularly special occasion, marking both the 30th anniversary of The Open Group and the 30th anniversary of the TOGAF® Standard.
The event opened with remarks from Steve Nunn, President & CEO of The Open Group, followed by presentations from Eirik Rasmussen of Capgemini Norway and Ian Betts of Digital Energy Solutions. They highlighted Norwayʼs pioneering initiatives related to the national emissions database and emphasized the importance of the Open Footprint® Forum.
In the afternoon, Industry Awareness Sessions—open to the broader community—featured case studies and discussions across a wide range of domains, including architecture, digital, security, OPAF, and OSDU®.
That evening, an off-site networking event was held at the iconic Fram Museum in Oslo. Participants enjoyed traditional Norwegian cuisine and live music while exploring the historic exploration vessels Fram and Gjøa, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for international exchange.
From the second day onward, the program centered on member meetings and collaborative working sessions across various Forums. These discussions reaffirmed the value of open standards in enabling scalability, interoperability, and sustainability.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors—including Google Cloud, Microsoft, and SLB—as well as to all exhibiting organizations for their generous support.
As The Open Group celebrates its 30th anniversary, we express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our journey. We remain committed to advancing and promoting the practice of open standards together with our global community.
