Our CEO & President, Junkyo Fujieda, was appointed in 2023 as the 12th Fellow in the history of The Open Group, where he serves as the Japan Representative and Chair. At present, there are only two active Fellows within The Open Group:Mr. Andrew Josey and Mr. Fujieda. This recognition is an exceptional honor. Throughout his long-standing commitment as a leader of a non-profit organization,Mr. Fujieda has dedicated himself to the advancement of global standards and the provision of strategic leadership. This appointment reflects the high international regard for his contributions over many years. In conjunction with the Fellowship recognition, Mr. Fujieda was interviewed by Mr. Ash Patel, Content Marketing Manager at The Open Group. The Open Group EA Practitioners Conference officially marked a major milestone – the 30th anniversary of the TOGAF® Standard, a standard of The Open Group, the world’s leading framework for Enterprise Architecture. Further celebrating this remarkable journey – from the foundation of the TOGAF Standard to the evolution of the ArchiMate® Specification, the Open Agile Architecture™ Standard – O-AA™, The Open Group Eagle AI Assistant, and the entire Architecture Portfolio standards of The Open Group, with over 90 attendees from around the world joining in the celebrations.
The Open Group's Standards, including TOGAF, ArchiMate, O-AA, and Eagle AI Assistant, will continue to evolve as the foundation supporting transformation for enterprises and governments worldwide.
Furthermore, Mr. Fujieda presented ◆ The Open Group Report ◆ published on December 9, 2025 ‘The Impact of Enterprise Architecture on Business Success: Statistical Study of TOGAF® Adoption in the Fortune Global 500’ English Ver (co-authored by Mr. Junkyo Fujieda, President and CEO of ReGIS Inc., and Mr. Steve Nunn, President and CEO of The Open Group) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the TOGAF® Standard. We sincerely hope many will read it and wish for the further development of The Open Group and TOGAF®.
