The Open Groupは、現地時間2022年4月25日(月)～26日(火)にイギリス・ロンドンにてEnterprise Architecture Practitioners SummitをHybrid形式で開催致しました。
　Enterprise Architecture (EA) を取り巻く様々な講演者、トピックス、論題が集まり、充実した2日間となりました。

　The Open Group CEO の Mr. Steve Nunnは、The Open Group の現状及びPresident’s Awardに関する講演を行うと共に、このSummitに参加くださった多くの出席者、そしてスタッフへ感謝の意を表しました。

　President’s awardとして、富士通株式会社が「Most Valuable Contribution as an Organization（組織としての最も価値のある貢献）」で、Mr. Rob Akershoekが「Most Valuable Contributor Award for an Individual（個人で最も価値のある貢献者賞）」を受賞しました。全ての候補者に心より御礼を申し上げます。皆様の長年に渡るThe Open Groupの取り組みへのご参加に心より敬意を表します。オープン標準のビジョンを達成するために協力し合わなければ今はなく、又テクノロジー産業の推進に役立つ標準を構築することもできなかったと思います。

　また、The Open Group Forum DirectorのMr. Mark Dicksonが Mr. Steve Nunn に続きTOGAF® Standardに触れ、TOGAF® Standard 10について新たに発表を致しました。

The Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Summit, Hybrid Event (in-person and virtually ) in London brought together a variety of speakers, topics, and discussion points surrounding Enterprise Architecture (EA).

Steve Nunn, President and CEO, The Open Group, gave an engaging and stirring address revolving around The State of The Open Group and also the President’s Awards. He set the scene of what was to come for the days ahead, while also hinting at some exciting news to come. He also extended gratitude to staff, those in attendance of the event, for joining the EA Practitioners Summit.

As for the President’s awards, the winners included Fujitsu for ‘Most Valuable Contribution as an Organization’ and also Rob Akershoek for ‘Most Valuable Contributor Award for an Individual’, in relation to being an active contributor of the forum, making IT4IT flow. Congratulations to all the nominees for their participation in The Open Group initiatives over the years. We would not be able to accomplish the work that we do or create the standards that are helping to drive the technology industry, without working together to achieve our vision of open standards.

Mark Dickson (Forum Director, Architecture, The Open Group) then followed on nicely from Steve, our President and CEO, in touching on the TOGAF® Standard, and even shared some exciting details surrounding the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition. This moment was certainly a definitive highlight of the day along with Steve Nunn’s moving speech.

The Open Groupは2022年の最初のConferenceを現地時間1月31日(Mon)～ 2月2日(Wed)にVirtual Eventにて開催致しました。

世界中から1,000人以上の参加者がVirtual上に集まり、Open Digital Standardsがデータサイエンス、デジタルエンタープライズ、環境フットプリントの削減をいかに推進することができるかを熱く議論しました。

IBM様、Capgemini様、PwC様、富士通様などからスピーカーをお招きし、人間中心のAIからデジタルプロダクトライフサイクル、人工衛星による二酸化炭素排出量の追跡まで、様々な分野について学ぶ、有益で大盛況の3日間でした。

The Open Groupは、COP26(The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference)「国連気候変動枠組条約第26回締約国会議」の円滑な運用の為、Open Standards及びPlatformsに注力しています。2020年8月より、The Open Groupは我々のメンバー団体と共に、環境フットプリントデータを追跡するためのOpen Standardsを作成し、データの記録、処理、そして共有を業界問わず横断的に統一しています。温室効果ガスデータ（水使用量や埋立地ガス等のデータ）の計算を自動化し、各企業がリアルタイムに且つ正確な情報を得られるようにする、というビジョンに向けて前進しています。

This year’s first global virtual event brought together over a thousand attendees from around the world to discuss how open digital standards can help push forward the state of play around data science, the digital enterprise, and environmental footprint reduction.

Speakers from organizations including IBM, Capgemini, PwC, Fujitsu, and AXA made for a lively and informative three days, with virtual attendees tuning in to learn about everything from human-centered AI, through digital product lifecycles, to tracking carbon emissions with satellites.

Since August 2020, The Open Group has been working with member organizations to create an open standard for tracking environmental footprint data, unifying data recording, processing, and sharing across industries. We are making progress towards a vision of making it possible to automate the calculation of greenhouse gas data - and, eventually, data such as water usage and landfill - giving companies real-time, reliable insight into their impact. The Open Group is now focused on Open Standards and Platforms for Operationalizing COP26.

現地時間の7月19日(月)から21日(水)にかけて「Open Digital Standards」Virtual Eventが開催されました。
今回も世界中のベンダーやエンドユーザー企業がvirtualで一同に会し、ビジネスがdigital-firstになるために、業界を超えたオープン標準（open standards）の開発がどのように貢献しているかを議論しました。
世界の90カ国以上から1,040名を超える参加者がオンラインで集まり、digital transformationへの重要なroadmapについて議論できたことは大変素晴らしいことでした。

各セッションでは、Microsoft、Schneider Electric、MEGA Internationalといった業界リーダーが登壇し、オープン標準を中心に、今日のデジタル時代に必要とされる重要なマイルストーンやスキルについて説明しました。

Our Open Digital Standards July 2021 event brought together vendors and end-user organizations from across the globe to discuss how the cross-industry development of open standards is helping businesses become digital-first. It was fantastic to have over 1,040 attendees from more than 90 countries gather virtually to discuss this critical roadmap to digital transformation.

Sessions centered on the open standards and highlighted the key milestones and skills needed in today’s digital age, and were hosted by an expert line-up of industry leaders from organizations such as Microsoft, Schneider Electric and MEGA International.

The Open Groupは、今年最初となるVirtual event ‘Open Digital Standards’を現地時間1月25日～27日に開催し、2021年の幕開けを迎えました。

今回も世界中の専門家がオンラインで集結し、企業や政府をデジタル変革にドライブしガイドする上でのOpen Standardの重要な役割を探りました。

Digital Firstへの移行は、Covid-19によるパンデミック後の世界で民間・公共部門の組織が生き延びるために必要不可欠なものとなっています。そのため、3日間にわたって参加者がバーチャルに集まり、今日私たちが直面している課題を解決するための具体的なソリューションについて議論できたことは大変素晴らしいことでした。

セッションとワークショップは、業界をリードする多くの専門家が主催し、Digital First企業の成功に不可欠な問題に対処するためのOpen Digital Standardsの開発と実装を中心に行われました。

We kicked off 2021 in style by hosting our first virtual event of the year, ‘Open Digital Standards’ January 25-27. Bringing together experts from across the globe, we explored the key role of Open Standards in driving and guiding enterprises and governments through digital change.

The transition to Digital First has become a necessity for the survival of private and public sector organizations in a post-pandemic world.

It was therefore fantastic to see attendees gather virtually over the course of three days to discuss tangible solutions for navigating the challenges we face today. Sessions and workshops were hosted by a plethora of leading industry experts and centered on the development and implementation of open digital standards to address issues critical to the success of a Digital First enterprise.

Digital-Firstへの継続的な移行に於いて、進化するビジネス環境を理解し、デジタル製品やサービスに提供に役立つ新しいアプローチを模索するテクノロジーエグゼクティブやマネージャー、実務者の数が増えています。

The Open Groupは、グローバルな業界・産業のコラボレーションを通じてビジネスの課題を解決する組織として知られていますが、2020年10月26日～29日に3回目のオンラインイベントを開催致しました。今回のオンラインイベントでは、3,300名を超える登録申し込み者があり、Digital-Firstの円滑な移行を可能にするデジタル標準を見つける機会が提供されました。

In the ongoing transition to Digital-First, an increasing number of technology executives, managers, and practitioners are looking for new approaches that will help them to make sense of the evolving business landscape and deliver digital products and services.

As an organization that is known for solving business issues through global industry collaboration, The Open Group hosted its third virtual event October 26-29, 2020, which provided over 3,300 registrants with the opportunity to discover the critical digital standards that enable a smooth transition to a Digital-First enterprise.
