CRM is a key for the corporate success.
In these 40 past years, people continuously have been saying that Japanese distribution mechanism should be opened for Japan globalization. However today Daiei which was the top revolutionary in Japanese distribution industry has been defeated because they have become too huge and could not follow up the speed of market diversification and the cost down .
In US also K-Mart got in Chapter Eleven.But Walmart has been growing very steadily. It is said the difference of K-Mart and Walmart is depending on the capability of IT systems and its community and customer satisfation. Regarding the biggest weak points of Japanese distribution industry, it is said that its industy depends on multiple layers of distribution structure and lack of effective direct marketing scheme.
In order to renew the traditional structure including internal and partner sales organizations, the most important key points are how to develop the end to end e-systems and how to build up active marketing formation and automation mechanism.
Then how shall we do? The answer is to start CRM installation task in your company and join CRM Association Japan.
Based on above opinions, GIS Forum#32 is designed to focus on CRM by inviting Japan and US opinion leaders and study the knowledge data base for ubiquitous computing age towards Japan revitalization.
